Black Baza Coffee is looking for an Operations & Admin Manager for our office.
Key admin responsibilities include office management, maintenance of systems and management of administration tasks. Key operations responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordinating requirements with vendors, troubleshooting logistics, working closely with the production team to ensure smooth functioning, managing inventory and customer support.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English, Kannada is preferred
- Educational Qualification: Minimum graduation in any degree
- Full time role based in Bangalore
- Experience: 3-5 years in Admin and Operations roles
- Preference will be given to any candidate ready for a commitment of 3 years

2. Business Development
Black Baza Coffee is looking for a Business Development Executive who is a dynamic, enthusiastic person who is open to learning and keen to grow our business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship building, and an understanding of the specialty food and consumer goods space.
Key business development activities include, but are not limited to expanding our sales through cafe, office, hotel and retail partnerships across India, tracking and analysing performance, leading new collaborations and maintaining relationships with existing partners.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business meetings, trade shows, and events.

3. Coffee Quality
Black Baza Coffee is seeking a skilled and passionate Coffee Quality Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our coffee products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of coffee cultivation, processing, roasting, and cupping techniques, as well as a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our production team to maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship while driving continuous improvement in our coffee offerings.
Key responsibilities would include, but are not limited to overseeing coffee quality control, from green coffee sourcing and selection to post-roast evaluation and cupping, developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure the consistency, freshness, and flavour profile of our coffee products. Activities would also include conducting regular cupping sessions and sensory evaluations to assess coffee quality, identify defects or inconsistencies, and provide feedback to the production team.
Qualifications:
- PG Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in coffee quality, food science, agriculture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the industry, preferably in a specialty coffee roastery or similar environment (grassroots experience with smallholder producers, cooperatives and FPOs is preferred)
- Proficiency in cupping protocols, sensory analysis techniques, and flavor profiling.
- Strong understanding of coffee cultivation, processing methods, and roast chemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and compassionately across teams and departments.
- Willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and production schedules.
