Siddharth Agarwal is forced to lock down on a life of walking and log on to a computer instead
My French Press had developed a crack, so I was back to drinking tea, until recently, when I fixed it. It got me thinking about a lot of things — especially ‘time’ & ‘consumption’.
In “normal” times, I had planned on getting a new press. Not that fixing it now is Nobel worthy, but it reminded me that between the ideas of ‘buying more’ and ‘fixing it’, lay the deep chasm of struggles to a more sustainable planet.
As you can see, I’m using this time to dive into existential crises, and feeling the constant need to “do more”. Probably part of the crises, but worth indulging anyway. Hope you too are indulging some of these thoughts — along with a caffeine kick.
